UL94 V-0 POLYAMIDE

The V-0 teeth, whenever ignited, will stop burning within 10 seconds with no drips of inflamed particles. Unlike metal zippers, with NyFire there is no risk of burns due to skin contact with red-hot elements, along with maximum lightweight and flexibility.

 

TREVIRA CS®

The Trevira CS® yarns are permanently flame retardant. The flame retardant properties are firmly anchored in the fibre in the form of a comonomer – an organophosphorous compound. As a result, they remain unaffected by external influences (wear, ageing or frequent washing).

 

NOMEX®

When exposed to intense heat NOMEX®  yarns thicken and carbonize without melting, dripping or supporting combustion.

 

The standard NyFire comes with Trevira CS tape and Nomex thread. It is available also with 100% Nomex tape upon specific request
